01.12.09 A new attorney has joined the firm
Attorney Matjaž Jan was born in 1975 and graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ljubljana in 1999. During his career Matjaž Jan worked as a consultant at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Slovenia and then as an attorney at law in the department of commercial law in one of the biggest law firms in Slovenia. He was a member of various expert groups for the preperation of drafts of legislation acts, namely for the preparation of draft amendments to the Enforcement of Judgments in Civil Matters and Insurance of Claims Act, Law on Property Code, Law on Financial Collateral, Decree on the Register of Non-Possessory Liens and Seized Movable Property, etc. Matjaž Jan is also the co-author of the Commentary to the Amendments of the Enforcement of Judgments in Civil Matters and Insurance of Claims Act and the author of numerous expert publications in the field of enforcement, property and bankruptcy law. He speaks English, Italian, Croatian and Serbian.

15.07.09Court HolidayToday marks the beginning of the court holiday, which lasts until August 15. Based upon Article 52 of the Court Order judges and court clerks are expected to take most of their summer holiday during this period.
